What is Zikulise?

The Zikulise Community Upliftment Project is a registered non-profit organisation Section 21 Co that is facing the challenge head-on of uplifting those individuals unfortunate enough to be unskilled, unemployed and so disempowered. In achieving our mission, with the support of all our donors, we are making a valuable contribution to the peace, security and prosperity of our community and country as a whole.

 We have big dreams and we help people achieve theirs!

Thank you to all our funders and supporters who made 2011 a year when Zikulise continued to give people hope for a better future by enabling them through skills training to start up their own small businesses or be better equipped to gain employment.  We have great expectations for 2012 as we continue to improve the lives of those in our community. Our 2012 growth and expansion dream is to.....

Expand our training facilities at Zikulise to include five new long-term Incubators for baking & catering, sewing, pottery making and traditional bead weaving. We also want to establish an Incubator Business Support Hub and Entrepreneurs’ Resource Library for our trainees further assisting them to become future successful entrepreneurs.

Establish a reserve fund for Zikulise that will ensure its self-sustainability for many years to come.
